Evening entertainment offers a wide choice, all of a high-calibre with bars and lounges coming to life with laughter and music, from the big-stage variety productions shows in the main Showroom at Sea to classical recitals, party bands and comedy acts in other bars and lounges.

The Ocean Bar is a popular live music and dance venue and, by night, the Crow’s Nest transforms into a swish piano and dance club.

There’s also a smart casino with all your favourite gaming tables and slot machines as well as other more serene bars and lounges where you can unwind over a chat and a drink or two.

You can enjoy delicious international cuisine in traditional cruising style at set-time sittings with your fellow guests in the magnificent La Fontaine main restaurant, impeccably served by charming waiters.

Or you can be a little more flexible and opt for ‘As You Wish’ dining, just turn up to be seated any time between 5.30pm and 9pm.

There’s a more casual arrangement at the bright and spacious Lido Restaurant which offers buffet selections and made to order favourites throughout the day and a laid-back table service for dinner.

If you want to experience a more exclusive ambience for your evening meal, however, you can reserve a table at the premium dining Pinnacle Grill where there’s an exciting menu of steak and seafood specialities for you to enjoy in upmarket surroundings, an ideal choice for a special occasion.

Cabins on the Prinsendam vary in style but are all very spacious and elegantly designed, offering twin beds (some of which are convertible to a king-size bed), private bathroom with bathtub and shower, bathrobes, flat-screen TVs and DVD players, hairdryers, complimentary fresh fruit on request, daily ice service, shoeshine and nightly turndown as standard.
