    It’s a desert, a beach, blue surf and big fish along the southern tip of Baja California. Cruise visitors will find that Cabo is exquisite, the shopping divine, and the beaches all shine. Lover's Beach is a great place to see the arch at Land's End, and this is one of the best places on earth to swim with dolphins at their world renowned dolphin centre.

    Puerto Vallarta is one of Mexico’s liveliest cities, and offers golden beaches and sparkling seas. If you’re feeling more adventurous you can go hiking and mountain biking in the hills, explore the jungle on horseback, go snorkelling and scuba diving, or take a jeep safari. With a lively nightlife too, you won’t be short of things to do.

    Once a small fishing village, Huatulco has grown out of the surrounding jungle and offers visitors sandy white beaches, crystal waters hidden in sparking bays and coves. Huatulco is an area of great natural beauty with fascinating archaeological sites, extreme white water rafting trips, local traditions and charming friendly locals.

    See the colourful shops, street stalls and bars along the main street, and have a drink with the locals at the pier. Relax in the sun with the refreshing snacks and drinks sold by beach vendors. Visit the Mangrove Forest nearby to see crocodiles, herons and red snappers.

    The biggest beach in the area, at El Murciélago, is lined with a variety of inviting restaurants offering seafood and other local dishes. There are many water sports to enjoy in the clear blue sea, including diving, sailing, body-boarding, surfing and sport fishing. The nearby small town of Montecristi is home to some beautiful colonial architecture.

    The historic and the modern collide in Lima. It hides pre-Columbian temples and colonial mansions, as well as a thriving nightlife and enormous shopping malls.     Arica is known as the city of Eternal Springs due to its weather and high temperatures all year round. Coupled with beautiful beaches, this city is popular with visitors. Lauca National Park boasts panoramic views and a number of different wildlife species. Experienced hikers can climb the Parinacota volcano. The village of Parinacota offers an insight into the history of this area with the national monument offering traditional church architecture.
