Roughly 400 miles northeast of Quebec City, Sept Iles stands proud in the Côte-Nord region, where roads are scarce and thick, green forests are in abundance. Saying goodbye to the capital, it’s time to transfer to Niagara for a two-night stay. On the way, you’ll visit Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, which is known for the Gettysburg National Battlefield, the site of a turning point in the American Civil War and now part of Gettysburg National Military Park. Tour the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center, which displays Civil War artifacts, and Gettysburg National Cemetery, where a memorial marks the site of Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 Gettysburg Address, before continuing to Niagara.
