Your Itinerary

On-board the visually stunning Ventura, P&O have taken all the refined cruise features you’d expect and added imaginative and exciting innovations. La Coruna is at the site of the ancient Tower of Hercules lighthouse, which has been operating since the second-century AD. The city is known for its characteristic galerías, or glazed window balconies. The promenade, one of the longest in Europe, runs along the city’s headland and passes many of its most exciting sights.

In Bermuda you can laze on pink sand beaches, take in the pastel-coloured houses and the famous Bermuda shorts. Stroll through the gardens filled with tropical blooms, shop in the King’s Wharf or stop for afternoon tea and cricket – a true island tradition. You could even try your hand at landing the famous blue marlin on a deep-sea fishing trip.

Freeport is on Grand Bahama Island, only a few miles from port. Relax on Barbary Beach’s brilliant white sands and gaze into its turquoise waters. Swim with dolphins or go bottom fishing for snapper and triggerfish. The Western Heritage tour includes Mermaid Pond, Pinder's Point Lighthouse, Hawksbill Creek, Boiling Hole, Holmes Rock, Josey's Cave, and Fern Gully.

Cozumel is the world’s most popular cruise port and San Miguel is its main town, on the west side is a diving mecca and it has an amazing natural pool which is linked by an underground tunnel to the sea in which dolphins come and go freely. On the east side you have the Mayan archaeological site "El Caracol" temple, believed to have been used as a lighthouse by the Mayans.

Surrounded by a living reef, Roatán is a paradise for snorkellers and divers. Its soft white sand and bright blue waters are some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The island also boasts an iguana farm, a kayak tour, a dolphin show, a butterfly garden, and plenty of caves and winding dirt roads to explore.

Belize is on the north eastern coast of Central America. It is the region’s last unspoiled marine and rainforest environment offering some of the most exciting adventure travel. Attractions vary from the Mayan Altun Ha Ruins, to The Caves of Branch River, or snorkelling and diving at the spectacular Glover’s Reef.

You don't need to visit at Mardi Gras to get caught up in all that’s great about New Orleans the Belle of Louisiana knows how to entertain year-round. Take a stroll in Jackson Square and indulge in the famous New Orleans' gumbo while listening to Jazz, synonymous with this area. Visit the French Quarter, Garden District, one of the Cajun bayous or take Mississippi steamboat ride

Key West is a little hidden island filled with charm and surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches. This island offers an abundance of tourist attractions and trips. From relaxing on the beach, to harbour tours of the island, to amazing diving and snorkelling experiences; Key West has something for everyone. For more on the history of the island, ride on one of the tour trains or trolleys and the conductor will relate stories, places to visit and provide views of the beautiful landscape.

A lip-smacking cocktail of low-rise pastel art deco and shimmering glass skyscrapers, Miami lords it over Biscayne Bay on Florida's southeastern tip. Soak up the Latin flavours and share a mofongo platter of garlicky plantains in Little Havana. Sail across the bay to Art Deco South Beach, and explore Miracle Mile in chichi Coral Gables. Visit the famous Miami Beach or take a day trip to the Florida Everglades, Miami offers something for everyone.

Port Canaveral on Florida's east coast has several claims to fame – the surfing capital of the Atlantic, the largest scallop fishery on the planet, and home to space shuttle and rocket launches . The local waters promise dolphins, manatees, loggerhead turtles, and miles of pristine sand. Go 45 miles West to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World, the Universal theme parks, and Sea World.

Located on the subtropical island of Sao Miguel in the mountainous Azores, Ponta Delgada was founded in the 15th Century by Portuguese and Flemish sailors. The island is home to some spectacular scenery including volcanic lakes, emerald forests and rocky headlands. You can drive out to nearby villages and natural wonders or stay to explore Ponta Delgada with its black-and-white tiles, whitewashed buildings and excellent seafood restaurants.
