Product and Trading Administrator

Position – Full Time - Permanent

Salary - £18,000 - £22,000 DOE

Based Royal Wotton Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire

Reporting to - Global Head of Product

Overall Objective

Working alongside the Product Support Manager and Product Manager to ensure the accurate and timely delivery, maintenance and updating of new and existing products to the business.

Typical activities

  • Accurately build and update new and existing products
  • Monitor and update all package elements on a daily basis including cruise, hotels, tours and any other land arrangements
  • Ensure any variance in cost is highlighted to the Product Support manager to resolve any issues
  • Work closely with the Product Support manager to ensure stock is in line with the monthly plan and run rate forecast, highlight any changes to the relevant department along with any requests to replenish stock and ensure that this is all updated correctly
  • Update the cabin meta splits on all packages regularly as required
  • Update the white boards to track all kpi’s
  • Support the handover of any new product via the global planner to CSI, flights, contracting, to agree deadlines based on agreements pre made by the product manager or commercial manager
  • Liaising with the Marketing Department to ensure any package amends are actioned
  • Managing package closures and ensure all departments are informed
  • Understand the global priorities from the Product managers to ensure the delivery of new products to the business
  • Maintain, monitor and update the global planner to ensure the work flow and communication to all departments is delivered within the agreed deadlines

Skill set required:

  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a clear focus on high quality and accuracy
  • Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, Internet and email
  • Able to get on with others and be a team-player
  • Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Reliable, tolerant, and determined.
  • A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
