Scenic Eclipse is the world’s most luxurious expedition mega yacht.
In comparison to Scenic Eclipse, Scenic Eclipse II’s swimming pool and sundeck (Deck 10) are larger-sized. There is also a new poolside bar (with indoor-outdoor seating) and the swimming pool is oval-shaped.
Scenic Eclipse features two helicopters onboard. Scenic Eclipse is a six-star, ultra-luxury mega yacht owned by Australian river cruise operator Scenic. It is the first ocean cruise ship for the company, which specialises in luxury river cruises.
Scenic Eclipse carries up to 228 passengers, although this is limited to 200 in the Polar Regions where an extensive team of expedition staff are embarked to provide lectures, guiding and to operate the vessel’s Zodiac Nautic boats. The vessel comprises all suite accommodation with every cabin featuring a balcony.
There is no internet cafe, but Wi-Fi is included, and it’s powerful when the ship sales in less-remote regions. The ship has a boutique shop, offering high-end clothing and accessories.
